I am a second year PhD student in the Computer Science Department of NC State University.

I was born on January 29th, 1983 in Shanghai, China ( My 'lucky animal' in Chinese culture is dog ). It is the largest and most populous city in China, and also one of the largest cities in the world.

I previously worked on video coding ( SVC, H.264, MPEG x). My educational background is listed as follows:

I am working with Prof. Xiaohui Gu as a member of DANCE group (Distributed system research on Autonomy, resileNce, Collaboration, and Energy). My general research interest is distributed system with a current focus on  intelligent system information monitoring and system failure management using machine learning techniques.

• SysMD: 24x7 Online System Anomaly Prediction, Diagnosis, and Correction for Complex Systems.
